Crowd Cushion™ is the vision of Catherine Curtin, a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Sports and Entertainment Management Program. As a lifelong live music fan and seasoned festival-goer, Catherine witnessed firsthand the risks associated with excessive crowd pressure at live events. That experience inspired her to develop a solution that helps event teams identify developing crowd pressure and respond before situations escalate.

Since its inception, Crowd Cushion™ has continued to gain momentum throughout the live events industry, with successful deployments at major festivals, arenas, and outdoor venues. In recognition of its impact and innovation, Crowd Cushion™ received the Innovation of the Year Award at Future of Festivals in Berlin, highlighting its growing role in advancing event safety technology.
